Visionary Philanthropy Group (501c3) — Advisory Board Member
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on workforce development, technology training,
and second chances through pathways to legitimate, meaningful work. Founded by
formerly incarcerated entrepreneur and advocate Nyene Baker, VPG’s mission is to
empower at-risk youth, returning citizens, and underserved communities by providing
technology and workforce training that promote long-term self-sufficiency and stability.
The organization is currently pursuing approval as a licensed Private Career School in New Jersey.
I have supported VPG across strategic communications, fundraising, and organizational
development — including contributing to website messaging and positioning,
assisting with relationship-building and donor outreach, and providing ongoing
guidance during key stages of institutional growth. Most recently, I spent time on-site
with the leadership team following New Jersey’s approval, advancing VPG’s
progression toward becoming an approved Private Career School, supporting the next
phase of workforce training and educational development initiatives.
